Announcement 12 April 2012 from Jackie Wills
After 22 years of making waistcoats I have decided to stop in order to concentrate on other aspects of my design business. This has been a hard and emotional decision to make.
Please be assured that I am still designing/creating/writing/teaching/selling my work but NOT waistcoats.
There are waistcoats in stock that I am keen to sell. Happy to accept any sensible offers, particularly for multi purchases. Ideal stock for a shop? Look out for bargains on Ebay > Thejaxcollection.
I am not saying I will never ever ever make another waistcoat …..but for the time being I am stopping........................

Re: Waistcoat 134. VOGUE magazine (UK)
asked me to create a floral & chintz waistcoat for a photo shoot. The request
from VOGUE sent me on a whole new design direction. I subsequently
created a small collection of vintage floral chintz patchwork waistcoats.
